How to Connect WordPress to Hostinger & Set Up the Dashboard

If you’ve purchased Hostinger hosting and want to install and set up WordPress, follow these steps:

🔹 Step 1: Connect WordPress to Hostinger

Method 1: One-Click WordPress Installation (Recommended)

1. Log in to your Hostinger account.
2. Go to Websites → Click Manage on your domain.
3. Scroll down to Website Setup → Click Auto Installer.
4. Select WordPress → Enter your site details:
   • Admin Username & Password (for WordPress login)
   • Site Title
   • Admin Email
5. Click Install and wait for the setup to complete.

✅ Your WordPress site is now installed!

🔹 Step 2: Access the WordPress Dashboard

1. Go to: yourdomain.com/wp-admin
2. Log in using the username & password set during installation.
3. Once inside the WordPress Dashboard, you can manage your website.

🔹 Step 3: WordPress Dashboard Basic Setup

✅ 1. Set Up General Settings

• Go to Settings → General
• Update Site Title, Tagline, and Timezone
• Save changes

✅ 2. Configure Permalinks (SEO Friendly URLs)

• Go to Settings → Permalinks
• Select Post name (yourdomain.com/sample-post/)
• Click Save Changes

✅ 3. Install a Theme

• Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New
• Browse and install a theme (e.g., Astra, GeneratePress)
• Click Activate
